WHO WE ARE

The Big Condo Academy is a community media campus and skills centre focused on music, media, and the fashion industry. We are a non-profit community interest company (CIC) that focuses on real-life training and employability skills for use in the current industry. The Academy’s aim is to build skills and confidence in our learners through team building exercises and group projects. We offer accredited courses in media, music and fashion. We also offer evening classes which are available throughout the year to include podcasting, music recording /production, video production, creative writing, fashion, photography, modelling, artist development and artistic projects that benefit our community. The Academy also offers internships, and volunteer roles on campus as well.

Music

Artist Development, live performance, DJ classes, Artist Management, Event planning, Singing & Guitar Lessons , Rap mentoring/coaching, Learning about the record industry, music production and more..

Media

Film and Tv directing , music video production, video editing, podcast production, planning and producing ideas for media, learning about the creative media industry.

Beauty and Fashion

Beauty spa/therapy treatments, healthy eating and well being. Fashion industry networking events, fashion shows, Photo shoots and modelling. Anatomy and physiology and business practices.

HAF CHILDRENS ACTIVITIES

The Big Condo Academy will be open to Children aged between 11 and 16 years old through all the half terms in the year. We normally run 10am until 4pm Monday to Friday. The children will receive breakfast and lunch providing they are on benefit related school meals. What to expect? Podcasting, Film Making, Foley, ADR and sound recording, radio production, music, guitar, uke, drum classes, music production, fashion design, modelling, singing lessons, poetry, acting and so much more.
